This Trader Joe’s Copycat Recipe is ready in 30 minutes. You can choose to be completely Trader Joe’s authentic by buying ingredients at the store or you can make it with food found at the grocery store.

Definitely chop up everything before you melt the chocolate. It’s a race against the clock.

It’s all about speed here because you have to top off the chocolate before it hardens. Measure out the toffee bits and pretzels, chop the nuts, crush the Oreos.

Cowboy Bark - Trader Joe's CopyCat Recipe

Total Time: 35 minutes

Cowboy Bark - Trader Joe's CopyCat Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces dark baking chocolate (I used Nestle’s dark baking chocolate)
  • 1 and ¾ cup mini pretzels
  • ⅓ cup roasted and lightly salted peanuts
  • ⅓ cup roasted and lightly salted almonds
  • 10 coarsely crushed Oreos or Jo Jo’s
  • ⅓ cup toffee bits

Instructions

  1. Have everything pre-cut and measured out.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Over low heat in a small saucepan, melt chocolate until smooth. Pour over the lined baking sheet and smooth out with spatula.
  4. Sprinkle toppings evenly over the chocolate.
  5. Allow to chill in freezer for 30 minutes or outside for at least an hour before cutting. Store in airtight container.
