So lately I’ve gotten many questions about browning butter. What is it? How do you make it? Is it really brown? So, I thought I would share. I use brown butter in a ton of my recipes such as these carmelitas or nutella-stuffed cookies. It adds a deep and nutty flavor to the batter. I absolutely love using it together with brown sugar as it creates a sweet mixture that you will fall in love with. I also find it works well with oats, chocolate, and caramel. Happy belated pi day! Unfortunately I was so busy on pi day that I didn’t get a chance to post, but have no fear, I was able to bake a pie. My siblings were home, so baking this pie was great family bonding time. I was actually in a performance as part of I-Nite (International Night) at my high school. It was such a blast and so exciting. It is a huge part of the culture at my high school so I was so happy to be able to be a part of one of the many (25+) acts that performed.
